Our Mission
YR SPACE’s mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where children and young people with disability can build confidence, independence, social connections, and meaningful life skills through structured centre-based and community-based supports.
YR SPACE is committed to delivering high-quality, goal-based supports that are responsive to the individual strengths, interests, needs, and goals of each participant. Programs are designed to promote social participation, community engagement, skill development, choice, and independence within a supportive small-group environment.
YR SPACE values diversity, inclusion, and person-centred practice, and aims to provide supports that are accessible, culturally respectful, supportive of participants and their support networks, and represent value for money through the delivery of meaningful, outcomes-focused supports that maximise participant engagement and opportunities for growth.

Our Values
YR SPACE is committed to maintaining inclusive, safe, and supportive environments where children and young people can thrive, built on the principles of being safe, respectful, and responsible.
We value strong partnerships with parents, caregivers, and participants to support engagement, wellbeing, independence, and positive outcomes. All members of the YR SPACE community — including staff, participants, families, and visitors — are expected to uphold these values and contribute to a positive and respectful environment.
YR SPACE does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying, violence, or threatening behaviour in any form.
Our Statement of Values reflects our commitment to inclusion, person-centred practice, safety, and respectful communication. We recognise and value the diversity of our community and encourage concerns or feedback to be addressed respectfully and collaboratively to support the best possible outcomes for participants and their families.
