Our Mission
YR SPACE’s mission is to offer a safe, friendly and supportive environment for all participants while promoting opportunities for social and recreational experiences through both centre-based and community-based activities. YR SPACE is committed to providing quality programs and activities that are affordable, culturally sensitive, and reflective of individual participant goals. These programs recognise the priorities and diversity of need, and are designed to benefit participants and their families.

YR SPACE is committed to inclusive, safe and orderly environments where children and young people can thrive, built on the principles of being safe, respectful and responsible.
We value strong partnerships with parents to support participant engagement and wellbeing, and expect all members - including staff, parents, participants and visitors - to uphold these standards. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, violence and threatening behaviour are never acceptable. Our Statement of Values outlines these expectations and shared responsibilities, recognising our community’s diversity and the need to address concerns respectfully to achieve the best outcomes for every child.
