YR SPACE employs a team of highly qualified and experienced Disability Support Workers who are specifically trained to deliver structured centre-based and community-based supports for children and young people with disability.

All staff have undertaken certified training to safely and effectively support participants with a wide range of health-related and high intensity support needs, including anaphylaxis, asthma, epilepsy, complex bowel care, enteral feeding, severe dysphagia management, positive behaviour support, effective communication strategies, manual handling, midazolam administration, and safe and enjoyable mealtime practices.

Staff are also trained in mandatory reporting, complaints management, infection control, waste disposal, and have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module to ensure supports are delivered in a safe, responsive, and professional manner.

All YR SPACE staff hold current NDIS Worker Screening Checks and Working with Children Checks.
