Thank you for your interest in working with YR SPACE.
YR SPACE is committed to recruiting staff who align with our values, safeguarding responsibilities, and person-centred approach to participant supports. As part of our Orientation and Induction Process, please review and complete the steps outlined below.

STEP ONE: APPLICATION & INTERVIEW PROCESS
Contact and meet with YR SPACE Program Management. Further information regarding current opportunities can be found in the ‘Join Our Team’ section of the website.
STEP TWO: NDIS WORKER SCREENING CHECK
An NDIS Worker Screening Check is a national background screening process used to assess whether a worker may pose a risk to people with disability. All YR SPACE staff working in risk-assessed roles are required to hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Victoria operates under a “No Clearance, No Start” approach, meaning workers cannot commence employment in relevant roles without a valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Applications for an NDIS Worker Screening Check can be completed online through Service Victoria.
You will require:
• Employer details: Yarra Ranges SDS – Employer ID: 4-4331-1698
• Original identification documents
• A smartphone or compatible device for identity verification
If you require assistance completing your NDIS Worker Screening Check, please contact the YR SPACE team.
